Day-by-Day Itinerary

Pickup from Bangalore after 6 AM and drive to Coorg. Visit Namdroling Monastery (Golden Temple) — one of the most spectacular Buddhist monasteries in South India. Proceed to Omkareshwar Temple, a beautiful 18th-century Shiva temple in Madikeri. Explore Nisargadhama Forest Island — a scenic island reserve on the Cauvery River with bamboo groves, deer, and a rope bridge. Check into hotel. Visit Eco Point. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Bhagamandala — a sacred confluence (Triveni Sangama) of the rivers Cauvery, Kannike and Sujyothi, with a beautiful temple complex. Drive up to Talakaveri — the origin of the River Cauvery and a significant pilgrimage site at 1,276 m in the Brahmagiri Hills. Visit Abbey Falls — a majestic 70-foot waterfall surrounded by coffee plantations and spice estates. Evening at Raja Seat — the beloved garden and viewpoint where Coorg's kings watched sunsets. After breakfast, check out from hotel. Head to Mandalpatti for a thrilling jeep safari — a viewpoint accessible only by 4WD through rugged forest terrain, offering sweeping views of the Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. Visit Harangi Tree Park & Elephant Camp. Proceed to Dubare Elephant Camp on the banks of the Cauvery River — interact with and bathe elephants. Drop back to Bangalore.
