This 8-day itinerary by Divine Holiday takes you from the sacred shores of Dwarka — one of the four holy dhams of Hinduism — through the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi at Porbandar, the last Asiatic lions at Sasan Gir, the majestic Somnath Jyotirlinga, and the world's tallest statue, the Statue of Unity.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Arrival at Ahmedabad or Rajkot. Pick up and transfer to Dwarka (approx. 9 hrs). Check in to hotel. After refreshment, attend the Evening Aarti Darshan at Shree Dwarkadhish Temple. Overnight in Dwarka.

Early morning Mangla Aarti Darshan at Shree Dwarkadhish. Back to hotel for breakfast. Proceed for Darshan at Bayt Dwarka (by ferry) and Shree Nageshwar Mahadev Mandir (Jyotirlinga). Enjoy the beach at Shivrajpur. Visit Maa Rukmani Mandir and Gomti Ghat. Evening Aarti Darshan at Dwarkadhish. Overnight in Dwarka.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Somnath. En route visit Porbandar — birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi — and his ancestral home Kirti Mandir (now a museum). Arrive Somnath and directly attend the Sandhya Aarti Darshan at Somnath Mahadev Temple (Jyotirlinga). Check in to hotel. Overnight in Somnath.

After breakfast, check out. Visit Shree Bhalkatirth — the sacred place where Lord Krishna left his mortal body. Drive to Sasan Gir — the last refuge of the Asiatic Lion. Check in to hotel. Evening: visit Devaliya Park Safari for wildlife sightings (sightseeing cost extra). Overnight in Sasan Gir.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Baroda (approx. 8–9 hrs). Arrive and check in to hotel. Evening visit Kamati Baugh gardens. If time permits, visit Laxmi Vilas Palace and Museum, and EME Temple. Overnight in Baroda.

After breakfast, check out and drive to the Statue of Unity (approx. 2 hrs). Visit the world's tallest statue dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — Jungle Safari, Viewing Gallery, Laser Show, Museum, Sardar Sarovar Dam, Valley of Flowers, and Glow Garden (sightseeing cost extra). Overnight in the Unity Area resort.

After breakfast, check out. En route, Darshan at Shree Neelkanth Dham at Poicha Village and Garudeshwar Temple. Drive to Dakorji for Darshan at Shree Ranchhod Raiji Temple. If permits allow, visit Amul Factory. Drive to Ahmedabad. Check in to hotel. Overnight in Ahmedabad.

After breakfast, check out. As per time, visit Shree Akshardham Temple, Adalaj ni Vaav (stepwell), Sabarmati Ashram and River Front. Free time for shopping in Ahmedabad. Transfer to Ahmedabad Railway Station or Airport. Goodbye Gujarat — with sweet memories!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, this package is very popular among pilgrims and families including senior citizens. Transfers are in private AC vehicles and we pace the itinerary comfortably. Please inform us of any mobility requirements so we can make special arrangements.

October to March is ideal — pleasant weather across all sites. The Rann of Kutch (Rann Utsav festival) is held November to February. Summers (April–June) are very hot. Avoid visiting during monsoon (July–September) for Sasan Gir as visibility is low.

Devaliya Park Safari, Jungle Safari at Statue of Unity, and other sightseeing entry fees are not included. These are paid on-site. Typical safari cost is ₹300–₹700 per person.

Yes — pickup is available from both Ahmedabad and Rajkot Airport or Railway Station. Please mention your arrival point when booking.
